If there’s one thing we’ve learned about print, it’s all about the details. It doesn’t matter if we’re talking the stock, the type of ink or that final cog in the wheel with finishing and binding -- every little detail has to be considered to make a stellar project. We are pretty proud of our bindery services because it’s an intricate detail that is often overlooked by other printers.
Bindery Done Right
There are many finishing aspects to bindery that we consider for your projects. It’s something if done wrong can completely ruin the look of even the most expensive stock and finishes. But if done right it is the final touch that makes everything perfect. In fact, the trouble with some bindery techniques is that when done right no one will even notice, but when done wrong it sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s just understanding where the touches count!
The Finishing Design Details
When we’re talking bindery options there are more choices than you might think and it’s not just for books. It is a design option that an experienced designer will consider in the creative process. It includes many little details that add to the presentation of your brochures and flyers adding a unique touch that you might not have even considered such as roll folds, accordion folds, gate folds, and double gate folds that all add interest to your brochures.
There’s also different bindery options in the final process of finishing like foil stamping or embossing and debossing to add hits of interest, sparkle and distinction. It’s all very sophisticated and lots of fun to experiment with.
The Big Finish
Nearing the final stages of bindery we get into that tiresome hand work no one wants to worry about such as collating, labeling, inserting, banding, kitting, etc. We do all of this for you, so you can worry about other things.
Packaging is the last step and we still consider the details right down to the final seal on your box before your order is delivered. We want all our hard work to arrive in good condition and leave nothing to chance.
We also like to view the bindery stage as an extra step for us to further our already obsessive quality control. We’ll take the time to do that quadruple check before everything gets packed and delivered. You’ll thank us for it in the end, our clients always do!

More InfoMailing Services
What’s the difference between an inbox and a mailbox? Effectiveness. According to 2017 studies, conventional mail reigns supreme when it comes to direct marketing (DM). It might seem it is a dead art, but if you think about it, it has almost become a novelty to receive an actual piece of mail.
